Doing Some Cardio (X) and Random Ab-Rippers
Trying to get back into P90X.
Been having trouble getting motivated for hour-long workouts with Tony. Been running a lot instead -- super nice outside here now and I usually P90X inside.

P90X Barefoot or Shoes?
I love doing P90X workouts, and I do some of them barefoot. Some of these workouts I am taking shoes off to do Ab Ripper which I much prefer barefoot.
Here is my breakdown.
Shoes
No Shoes / Barefoot
Anyone have any thoughts?

Recovery Drink
I have been using the P90X recovery drink but have decided to try another Recovery Drink product.
I have looked at reviews on Amazon, Recovery Drink Comparison Charts and the ingredients/nutritional information on both EnduroxR4 and the P90X Recovery Drink.
In the end, I am going to just combine these two products, which I ordered off Amazon. I would totally continue to use P90X Recovery Drink if it was sold on Amazon.

Day #16: Shoulds & Arms
Good bye Shoulders & Arms, we will not see your awesome face for 6 more weeks.
I had my best ever Ab Ripper today -- ever single rep, on time and on pace. I'm still feeling it today.

Day #15: Plyometrics X
Finished Plyo-X today, hardcore. Did Jump-Knee-Tucks at my own pace and hit 190 BPM (way high!) on both sets. Pushed myself almost to the brink.
Allison had a blister on her foot (cute shoes make that girl do crazy things!) but she still kept up barefoot. Pretty impressive, considering this is a tough working in springy trainers.

Day #14: Chest & Back + Ab Ripper
Brutal Chest&Back today. Not enough food eaten I think, and Kenpo-X really took it out of me.
I did do almost every rep (second wind?) in Ab-Ripper though, missing only a few Oblique V-Ups and three reps in Hip-Rock-N-Raise that I just could not do in time.
Chest & Back should be done with Push-Up bars, if not to make it more of a workout (extra range of motion) but to save your wrists. I have a bunch of wrist problems from a nasty car accident and typing too much, so I suggest something like these:

Day #13: Kepo-X
I am doing a "double-double" (as Tony would say) today with Kenpo-X and Chest&Back + Ab Ripper.
I used my Nike Triax C8 Heart Rate Monitor - Black/Blue - SM0017-044 for the first time today. It was actually a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be, the strap and all. I was pushing 160-190 BMP for most of Kenpo-X, but I really throw myself into that one and wear weighed gloves to drive up the intensity.
Proof positive that Kenpo-X is a great workout if you put your heart into it :)
Good stuff. I will post again after C&B.

Day #12: Yoga-X
All the way to the end! Yoga Bella Seven...RULES. I love it. You need to Yoga. It will increase
your fitness on every level.
Key to Yoga-X is the mat. You need a good one.
Manduka BlackMatPRO are AMAZING. Invincible, sticky, hypoallergenic. Heavy as hell though, but who carries these things around on a hike? not me. They make a travel version that is lighter but who wants that.
Get the long version, the one above. The shorter one is for people who are like 5'6" or something.

Day #11: Legs & Back
I love Legs & Back. I will be honest, this is the my favorite workout. Major muscle blaster. Throw in Ab Ripper (go hard!) and it is a full-body and then some workout.
First week I put up 53 chin/pull ups. Today, 68 total. I am on my way back to a respectable 120, but this time I am going all on time, no extra pauses to eek out the extra reps!
All my love for the door mounted pull-up bars, if your doors are wide enough.

Day #9: Plyo-X
Plyo-X is a hard workout, even if you modify and just try to keep up. My workout partner today borked about 30 minutes in, just ran out of energy and her blood sugar dropped.
If you hit that wall during Plyo-X, do NOT push yourself past it. You will only get sick. The best thing to do if you can't finish is to stop, drink fluids and come back strong the next day.
